## Weeks 1–2 — mechanics

- Pairs, quotes, pips and lot sizes
- Leverage, margin, spread, commission and swap
- Market, limit and stop orders
- Gate: ten position-size calculations and each order type placed on demo

## Weeks 3–4 — clean chart reading

- Candles, sessions and timeframes
- Swing structure, trend and range
- Scheduled event awareness
- Gate: annotate 20 clean charts before adding indicators

## Weeks 5–6 — risk and journalling

- Risk per trade and total open risk
- Currency concentration and daily stop conditions
- Before/after screenshots and rule-adherence fields
- Gate: complete a written plan and 20 journal entries

## Weeks 7–9 — one setup

- One market regime, context and trigger
- Objective invalidation, exit and no-trade rules
- Costs and signal expiry
- Gate: another careful reader can apply the rule without questions

## Weeks 10–12 — test and confirm

- Complete eligible historical sample
- Separate development and unseen data
- Demo forward test with frozen rules
- Gate: documented result, limitations and rejection criteria

- Strategy hopping
- Large indicator stacks
- Profit screenshots as evidence
- Buying a prop challenge to create urgency
- Any concept that cannot be defined before the outcome
