WickAtlas aims to make authorship, evidence, dates, commercial interests and uncertainty visible. This page describes the minimum record required for publication and how that record is maintained.

WickAtlas is an independent, early-stage publisher. It does not yet have a standing external financial review board, a live market-data desk or first-hand experience of every product it covers. Until a named author and biography are attached, material is attributed to WickAtlas Editorial and must not imply professional credentials that have not been documented.

Publication is a process, not a timestamp.
A page can pass one gate and fail another. Volatile subjects such as prop-firm rules, platform access and regulations receive a stated check date and need a new review when the source changes.

Use the source closest to the claim
Central banks, statistical agencies, regulators, legislation, platform documentation and a provider's current programme terms are preferred for factual claims in their respective areas. Independent reporting can add context or identify a dispute, but it does not replace the controlling rule or original dataset.
Community posts and customer reviews can reveal questions worth investigating. They are experience reports, not proof that every customer will receive the same outcome. Anonymous claims are not upgraded into facts through repetition.
Useful for workflow, never a substitute for evidence
AI may help organise research, compare page structures, draft plain-language explanations or flag internal inconsistencies. It cannot serve as the authority for a market fact, provider rule, legal statement, quotation or performance number.
Material AI assistance should be disclosed on the page or in its publication record. A responsible human editor must check the cited sources and final claims before release. If that review has not happened, the content should remain a draft.
An affiliate link changes the disclosure, not the evidence
A commercial relationship is stated before the relevant call to action. Non-affiliate alternatives remain eligible for coverage, and commission size is not a ranking input. A review must describe material drawbacks even when WickAtlas may earn from a qualifying referral.
Provider-supplied claims are attributed to the provider. Promotional statistics are not presented as independently verified unless WickAtlas has obtained and checked sufficient underlying evidence.
Distinguish an error from a changing market
A factual error that was wrong when published is corrected in place with a correction date and a description proportionate to its importance. A provider rule that later changes receives a dated version update when the original page accurately reflected the source at publication.
Minor spelling and formatting fixes do not require a formal note. Changes that alter the conclusion, risk, eligibility, cost, legal status or commercial relationship do.
